Elder Talk with Lance Scout
Join us in Airdrie on June 20, 2023 from 7 to 9 p.m. for an enriching experience as we bring together a community of learners and Lance Scout, an Elder from the Blackfoot Kainai Nation.

About the event
Indigenous and non-Indigenous people are invited to come to Airdrie to hear Elders from across Treaty 6 & 7 Territories and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3 to speak at five different events in the coming months.
Our first event is on June 20 where Elder Lance Scout, Kainai First Nation, will be sharing his stories and teachings.
Due to the nature of the talk the Elder recommends ages 16 and over. The talk may include personal stories that attendees may find unsettling. A trained Trauma Support Worker will be available if anyone needs support.
