About the event

Indigenous and non-Indigenous people are invited to come to Airdrie to hear Elders from across Treaty 6 & 7 Territories and the Métis Nation of Alberta District 4 (previously Region 3) to speak at five different events.

Our fourth talk is on November 8 when Métis Elder and Sgt. Major (Ret) George Pambrun will be coming to Airdrie AB to share his stories for National Indigenous Veterans Day. All ages are welcomed.

Register now to reserve your free spot in this special event. Your response will help us plan for seating and refreshments. Registration at Eventbrite: eldergeorge.eventbrite.ca

Elder Talks may include personal stories that attendees find unsettling. A trained Trauma Support Worker will be available if anyone needs support.

We are incredibly grateful to the Calgary Foundation for funding this initiative and to the City of Airdrie for their ongoing support to make this possible.
